could i categories living things and non living things and then use that to find out if that object is a particular type of object?Like if for example i ask the chatbot,

Is a car a cat?The car would be in the nonliving category and the cat would be in the living category. And because of that the chatbot would answer no it is not.How would i do that?

You would need to create a script in Self for this.

Self is a dialect of JavaScript and is object oriented and persistent, so make it easy to define complex data.

Here is an example script,

Your script only worked one time. And it then stopped.

No, do not enable learning.

Your bot's issue is that you added the script last, and have the "Understanding" script that accepts the same patterns.

Either delete the Understanding script, or move the other script to be first.

Scripts are executed in the order you define them in.

Why can't you put something like this into the chatbot.

IT would make it realer.

It is possible in Self to define a script for your bot to teach it to play a game. You can also utilize our command support to send commands back to a game client.

Here are some example text games,

We are working on enhanced game integration and game artificial intelligence.
