I want to use substring to take string in form like "My last answer is this" then applying s.substring(3,s.size()) it returns "last answer is this" but my concerns is If I used previous last answer to substring it wont work. I have user

You can include a link to a pdf or other file from a response. Responses can include HTML links and other HTML tags.

You can also upload a file to your bot from its Chat page and it will give you the URL to the file.

You can parse JSON results from a web service call in a Self script, use,

AIML does not have a response tag. AIML defines pattern and template tags inside a category tag. Responses are defined by the template tag.

I think your issue is you have 'Split Paragraphs' enabled in your bot's Learning & Settings.
This makes the bot process each sentence separately from a multi-sentence input.

sheila strong is the chatbot that has the problem in chatbot wars.I don't why that is.

Yes, it seems correct. Make sure you do not have another script or response that overrides it.

When I upload my AIML script with choice response, the bot does not recognize the <option> tag. The bot's response is basically <select></select> with nothing in it.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

I think it is most likely an issue with the echo affect you added. Try removing that, or switching to a different voice.

The external link supports the old PandoraBots API, not the new one, which is more complicated.

You should be able to create a proxy bot script for it. You can call XML or JSON APIs from a Self script.

Has anyone had any success linking to a Pandorabots chatbot via the external web API?

If you have two patterns that match the same question then the pattern matching the first word will be used.

AIML is not very good for supporting keywords, I would recommend a response list instead.
